In November it takes place the Salon de la Photo in Paris. So who better than our French Ambassador Pierre Delaunay, who will also be present at the show, to be the ambassador of this month? We asked a few questions. Read below!
How did you start your career in photography?
In a natural wat, I was born inside this world, my parents were photographers and I followd their steps and I’ve lived of photography from the past 32 years.
How would you define your photography style?
I try to translate in my photos the emotion that emerges from the characters, a documentary portrait in black and white in the pursuit of truth, opening my heart.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your profession?
Keeping the style, to be always on top, despite technological and technical photography advances.
What resources do you use to keep up to date?
I have the opportunity to evaluate my brothers worldwide, so I enrich myself with their creativity, plus I also give workshops, where I receive a lot (to give is to receive).
What is your best advice for new photographers?
Study as much as possible, meet your colleagues, expose and show your pictures to move forward and, especially, always keep the passion for photography.
Why did you chose to work with Koy Lab?
